Driving this vision is our dynamic and dedicated team, led by Shakier Brenner. With 11 years' experience in the industry, he brings with him a wealth of media and publishing experience, particularly in travel trade, business to business publishing a well as PR & Marketing . This experience was gained working on and managing well-known titles as well as media & marketing initiatives. |

| Three years ago, while travelling extensively to international travel trade exhibitions and networking with travel planning professionals from around the world, we discovered a distinct need for a credible source of one-stop information for trade professionals who, together with their clients, are serious about minimal impact on the environment and its host communities when travelling in Africa. From this was born Encounter Africa - the definitive trade directory focusing on sustainable tourism in Africa. Encounter Africa have positioned itself as the first and still the only travel trade directory focusing on reputable tourism products that practice sustainable tourism in Africa. Through our print edition combined with the online version we aim to meet the need for credible and well-researched information underpinned by our commitment to the environment and the people of our continent. |
